Sherlock Holmes Explanation for 8/4/2019

It is evident that two Black pawn captures of White pieces occurred. From the White pawn structure, it is not possible that either capture involved a White bishop (no way for them to escape).  Inferring from the remaining White pieces missing, the Black pawn captures must have been of a White knight and queen.

The White queen cannot escape until White plays axb3.  The only missing Black piece that allows axb3 is the light-squared bishop.  This means the White knight had to first be captured on e6 to allow the light-squared bishop out before the queen was captured on h6.
